Circle K – Quick Network Escalation Guide

When Screen Shows IP: 0.0.0.0

Check First

• ✔ Laptop on same cable gets internet

• ✔ Screen is set to Wired + DHCP

• ✔ Screen shows IP: 0.0.0.0

If all three are true → this is a network issue, not a screen issue.

What 0.0.0.0 Means

The screen is not receiving a DHCP lease.

The network is blocking or not responding to the device.

This is NOT a port 80/443 issue.

Call the Network Provider and Say:

“The display is not receiving a DHCP lease. A laptop works on the same port. Please check 

port security, MAC filtering, VLAN assignment, or DHCP blocking.”

Provide:

• Store location

• Screen MAC address

Remember

• 0.0.0.0 = DHCP / access issue

• Valid IP but no internet = firewall issu
